| news June '10 Music Waves France writes positive INERTIA review!!! For all French progrock connaisseurs......check out this flattering review at Music Waves France, the largest rock & metal site in France. Thnx Marc for your kind and honest words...merci beaucoup!! Just click the banner......  "Contradictions"................ working title for the new cd!! Taurus & Pisces have written the basic material for the INERTIA follow up!! A couple of days in a small cottage somewhere deep in a Dutch forest ....no one for miles.....no tv...no internet....just TP ....talking, laughing, focussing, composing, singing, recording,..... TP selected about ten songs for the new record. Heart of the album will be the titletrack "Contradictions", which takes the listener along a 30 minute progrockadventure. "Contradictions" : recording planned this autumn.... release sometime this winter!!  Taurus & Paul Reed Smith.......no contradiction at all!!

Almost 100 fans witnessed the first TP live performance ever!! The crowded church was guided by Erectromorph's weird sound scapes and were lead through 70 minutes of TP material. A kaleidoscopic film within the atmospheric house of nearly heavenly dimensions finished it all of. From the opening song "Same" until the closing with "Nearby" (ending in a long bizarre Taurus' guitar orgasm) it was pure magic. Due to the format of the show the audience had to save their long standing applause for the very last moment. The crowd, sitting in rather uncomfortable church benches, were expected to digest so many visual, audio and sensible impressions that their moment for applauding at the end of the show must have felt as a freeing, almost orgasmic experience. A warm and amusing after party mixed everything into a mellow chill amongst relatives and close friends. The sun was a sympathetic companion that afternoon on the 5th of April. Taurus & Pisces want to thank everybody for their support, compliments, usable feedback and applause!!!
March '09 In case you might need some more reason to buy the latest album check their site where TP is being described as...."a Dutch duo that makes slightly relaxed music with symphonic-like atmospheres, and elements of a.o. Differences, Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Tool, Japan and Timothy Pure........" Furthermore: the rehearsals for the april 5 church gig are going very well...... They told me it felt quite weird playing together again after several months of INERTIA promotion. With only acoustic guitars and synth they're boiling the INERTIA songs down to their source.
