Inertia is the resistance of an object to a change in its state of motion.......

Things can turn
She serves the queen at table two
Who gives her smile at who knows who

From a penthouse view on second street

Watch the children when they meet

Cheerful and so happily

Playing in a fantasy

Rewinding in his memory

Reminding days that used to be

Not feeling quite as confident

For all the truth he had to bent

Playground view fifth avenue

They see a man old grey and wise

Reigning in his paradise

They can see he sees them too

And when their eyes meet

They both look away

Somehow they can’t see

That things can turn in their own way

Changed her shift just be kind

Working late in overtime

Touching hands while getting close

Suddenly their eye to eye

Next of kin for which they know

There’s no need in asking why

And when their eyes meet

They both look away

Somehow they can’t see

That things can turn in their own way

And when she smiles

There’s no way to call her out of her dream

She holds her head up, in the clouds

As a way to go and make it al seem

Like everything is just too good for her

And then the way she calls you back . . . . . .

Is there an answer to the way she holds her emotions as she lacks, on the way out . . .

Mirror images

On this photograph turned yellow

You appear to me once again

Laughing in the swimming pool

A strong and energetic man

And I felt safe within your arms

Too small to understand your pride

Courageous still, when at your side

We strolled the woods

You built my bow

You taught me not to let my feelings show

As time would pass I became a man

Not quite as perfect as I think you’d planned

Concealing parts I fear to show

Now these mirror images

Strike me every day

As I catch myself repeating you

In the way that I behave

So many forces tearing me apart

As I grow weak I cover up my heart

Somehow you always seem to be there

To remind me that all I have to do is care

The years that came would not be easy on you

And you, for certain, would not be easy too

Your aspirations and beliefs

Made way for anger, sorrow and grieve

Gone the brightness in your eyes

Borderline

Have you ever felt so lonely you could die?

Wanna cling to every soul that meets your eye

Recollect affaires that wouldn’t last

Open up to joyful echoes from the past

If I can’t know

What I really am

How can I

Make you understand

And then again all that glitters turns to gold

I’m so cunning; no secret keeps unfold

Everyone’s a friend, no reason to be feared

My being’s light, all worries disappeared

If I can’t know

What I really am

How can I

Make you understand

How can I be

A consistent me

Living up to what

I’m expected to be

I’m a grain of sand, the desert is my world

I feel so cool, I’m fond of every girl

If I can’t know

What I really am

How can I

Make you understand

How can I be

A consistent me

Living up to what

I’m expected to be

I’m a grain of sand, the desert is my world

I feel so cool, I’m fond of every girl

Don’t need your drug cause I am full of me

Acknowledge my skills, I’m a personality

 Schooldays

No running in the corridors

The class would start on time

All bicycles so neatly arranged

I’d been in love before

But every time she passed me by

There was something more, something so strange

She was sunlight in my clouded days

And comfort in my fears

I wanted here to put me at ease

And as the years would pass by

She grew under my skin

From two to one; who’d meet the others needs?

They were golden days

Eating ice cream in the sun

Somehow we knew it had to end

So taste before it’s gone

And bitter-sweet a miracle

A miracle had come

We had these years to get a glimpse

Of what would make us run

So every now and then I go back in time

Looking for a place where I can find

Memories of when life would seem so light

And hope that I can feel that feeling once again

Do you remember Hebden Bridge and that little waterfall

I’d bide my time shooting pictures of you

I’d play guitar and sing my songs

Write down words for you

Of broken hearts and dreams that won’t come true

Same

Seasons have their  beauty

Says the man who runs the bar

They never stop to change my dear

Yet normal gets bizarre

They feel the same

Please stay the same

When the breezes come and take the leafs

We cannot leave as well

Like the trees we know where we belong

And who would break the spell?

This is not a game

Please stay the same

Each day you choose to stay

You decided not to move

So welcome to this place

And step inside our groove

It’s a one way ticket to Tinsel Town

A one ticket to keeping you down

It’s a rollercoaster not leaving ground

A one way ticket….to keeping you down

Politics

Consultant mediator

Spin doctor, mental coach

Managing director

Is it a virus or a hoax

From the moment we elected him

He left nothing in between

Became the king of the whole wide world

If you know what I mean

Isn’t it funny how democracy…isn’t all it seems

Just smile

Smile and wave

Pretend nothings wrong

Keep the masquerade

Just smile

Smile and sway

On this ruined land

That he betrayed

And all his love ones…stand nearby

To catch him when he falls

But his never ending strategy

Is sayin’….sorry, duty calls

Isn’t it funny how ambition…isn’t all it seems

Isn’t it funny how honesty…isn’t all it seems

 Under my skin

She’s like an ocean full of teardrop

like moonshine over seas

She’s a wonder just to look at

She’s amazing just to see

She’s like a summer breeze in august

Eating ice-cream in the park

Hand in hand along the seashore

Feel the gladness, feel the spark

Come under my skin

Deep down inside

Where nothing can harm you

Where it’s safe and secure

Gentle and pure

Where no one can find you

She’s like a heaven full of angels
Their serenity an art
Like a playground full of children
When their laughter takes your heart

She drinks the tea that I prepared her

My tears will fill her eyes

Although it’s frail like china

We both know we have to try

Come under my skin

Deep down inside

Where nothing can harm you

Where it’s safe and secure

Gentle and pure

Where no one can find you

…and I will hide you

Sweet Lucidity

I had a dream last night

Or was it the night before

So many sleepless nights

Çan’t stand it anymore

I’m tired of being tired

My dreams can not be fired

I will commit a crime

If silence will not be there in time

There’s a running road beneath you

And the steering wheel feels cold

You check the rear view mirror

Wish you wouldn’t feel that old

Then the breaks will fail to function

And speed is on increase

Only moonlight you can follow

Or backlights if you please

This sweet lucidity of thinking

That you are ever in control

But the ship your in is sinking

Your just a lost and lonely soul
