Taurus (Peter Everts,1960) played guitar in several bands during the period ’78 – ’90. After that he made a career move to consultancy and entrepreneurship. But, blood being thicker than water,  he kept composing, writing, arranging and producing.  Since 2003 he  owns the Innerspace Studio somewhere in the northern part of Holland, where he works on a diversity of projects. His musical references are mainly rooted in the seventies, which he considers the most innovative and inspiring period as far as rock music is concerned, due to the unceasing efforts to combine and merge different kinds of music, redefining musical borders and inventing new styles. Also nowadays bands and musicians taking this path draw his attention and sometimes are acclaimed as being a source of inspiration. The function of lyrics as a contribution to dialog, social change or new insights has become highly underestimated over the years, which is why he tries to write about all kinds of phenomena that may appeal to the conscious listener. He favours music with gripping, unconventional harmonic changes. In composing he’s always seeking for  that goose pimples effect.  He’s convinced that music that challenges you to discover  it’s deeper layers will remain under your skin for a much longer period than the shallow melodies that are presented on a silver platter.  Naming influential music encloses one in specific corners, on the other hand there’s no avoiding certain influences. From  Hendrix and Grand Funk Railroad to symphonic rock (Genesis, Pink Floyd, Yes, Gentle Giant, Camel as well as CSN&Y, Todd Rundgren and Steely Dan), all have been contributing to his musical map of the world.  More recent influences are being represented by e.g. Porcupine Tree, Tool, Spocks Beard.

Pisces (Gert Bruins, 1962) composes and writes lyrics.  Played in bands as Life Less Serious  and  Dikke Bertha.  Pisces may be regarded as a slow starter; only since recent years he discovered his ability to play an active role in music by taking part in a creative process. Once starting to compose and perform he could rely on a fast knowledge of musical influences, arrangement - and production styles whilst being a close and critical listener for more than a few decades. In 2007 he started Summer Breeze Project to which he contributes songs and lyrics as well as being their front man and vocalist. He has his own home / project studio where he works on his different projects. He considers himself being lost and found forever after hearing Led Zeppelin in 1975. Besides his admiration for  metal and hard rock he likes to listen to symphonic rock as well as singer-songwriters with a sense for the unexpected (Rush, Japan, Tool, The Tea Party, Porcupine Tree, etc). He considers the environmental and spherical aspects of music as most important; not only in a musical live setting but also while recording and producing. This tends to make him invest very much in the proper arrangement but also in finding and choosing samples and soundscapes that support the  songs’ atmosphere. Accordingly he, over the years,  developed a sense  for the visual component and the artwork that should accompany the music.      

 Taurus & Pisces share the opinion that music deserves the right multi media context to be properly enjoyed or understood. It should be considered as part of a plural sensory perception to be fully appreciated. Their common musical motivation lies in the creative momentum; being mutually responsible for  a creative end result is the ultimate kick.
